Proviron (Mesterolone) – Effect

Proviron comes in the form of tablets intended for oral use. It consists of mesterolone, a steroid hormone characterized by an androgenic effect. The preparation is responsible for replenishing the deficit of male sex hormones – androgens, the level of which gradually decreases over the years. When administered in the specified doses, it does not interfere with the process of spermatogenesis. After oral administration, the highest concentration is reached after about 1.6 ± 0.6 h.
